Planning for the Altitude
Castle Rock is over one mile above sea level (6224 feet, or 1900 meters). See this WebMD article for more on altitude sickness. You may wish to arrive 1-2 days before your training to adjust to the elevation. Also drink plenty of water and rest as needed. Packing lotion and chapstick may help with the dry climate as well.
